The Tomahawk STAR Foundation serves the Tomahawk area by acting as a community chest for businesses and individuals by making charitable grants to community groups, clubs and non-profit organizations that contribute to the health and vitality of our area.
Tomahawk is a generous community and many of its businesses, families, and community members have found that by making a tax-deductible contribution to the STAR Foundation, they are able to support area organizations with one gift, rather than making multiple donations throughout the year.
The Tomahawk STAR Foundation provides support to groups and/or organizations when they need it.
Since its inception in 2003, the STAR Foundation has donated close to $368,000 to local community groups in general and restricted contributions.
Harley employees supported the Northern Wisconsin Task Force on Literacy, which teaches people of any age to read. A STAR donation to the task force was used to pay for people from Tomahawk to become tutors.
